After a highly disappointing end to last season, followed by more Ja Morant drama (and another suspension), the public is down on the Grizzlies right now. The Grizzlies lost their opener at home to a very talented Pelicans team. We still see value on Memphis tonight against the NBA Champion Nuggets. The Grizzlies have arguably been the best home team in the NBA over the last few years. They only lost 6 home games all of last season, and played a good chunk of those games without Ja Morant. Memphis will be without several players tonight, but they still have a quality lineup. Jaren Jackson Jr, Desmond Bane, and Marcus Smart are All Star caliber players. While the Nuggets did win the NBA championship, let’s not forget that they went below .500 on the road last season (19-22). We will take the +6 points behind the home team, and we anticipate a competitive game.
