We like this spot for the Cavs tonight. Cleveland was one of the best home teams in the NBA last season. They finished the regular season 21 games above .500 on their home floor (31-10). The Thunder struggled on the road last season, as most younger rosters do. OKC had a big opening night win on the road in Chicago, but this Cavs team matches up much better with the athleticism and pace of the Thunder. The Cavs went 3-0 against the Thunder last season, winning each of those games by at least 5 points. It is worth noting that Cavs All Star guard Darius Garland is listed as questionable with a hamstring injury. Garland played 32 minutes on Wednesday against the Nets and was questionable heading into that game as well. We are optimistic that he will play, but even if he doesn’t, we still like this ticket. Cavs -3 for a half unit is our wager.
