Betting the NFL Draft
As sports fans, this past month has been an absolute nightmare to say it lightly. It is even tougher for those that had a steady flow of cash coming in each week through sports. Or if you didn’t have a winning betting strategy in place, maybe your wallet is fatter than ever. Either way, many of our customers and followers have reached out asking for a “Coronavirus Package” to help bring these winnings back.
Unfortunately, creating a package consisting of random sporting events across the world is not something we feel good about ourselves or our customers seeing a return on. We are not in the business of losing money, and to those who understand our model, we couldn’t be more against doing this.
Now with this being said, there is one event around the corner that our team has been spending countless time researching and planning for. We expect this event to net us more cash than March Madness would have. More importantly, this event will be kicking off as planned regardless of the coronavirus. This event is the 2020 NFL Draft! (April 23-25)
How will our NFL Draft Package work?
On legal sports betting platforms (such as Fanduel Sportsbook, DraftKings Sportsbook, Bovada, Bet365, Unibet, William Hill, and the million others etc.) there will be tons of props for the NFL Draft. This year in particular, these betting platforms are gearing up to have even more props than usual since this will be the biggest major sporting event for the foreseeable future.
The NFL Draft is the only event that our team at SteadyPicks works on year-round. This is our teams favorite event to bet on by a wide margin. Our data and resources tend to really pay off during the draft as there are far less variables in an event where no game is played. No injuries or other unplanned events can really happen (other than the Leremy Tunsil incident of 2016). We can prepare and plan for potential trades and other scenarios, however leaked bong videos moments before the draft we cannot plan for.
How many picks/props will I get if I purchase the NFL Draft Package?
The short answer is at least 8-10. We have 8-10 props that we absolutely love right now, we plan to add to this as more props become available as the draft gets closer. We also plan to have a link available where everyone who purchases this package will be able to get our live bets as well. One of the things we love about the draft is that tickets/bets will be cashing out quickly. You might win 3-4 bets in 40 minutes, rather than waiting an entire 2+ hour game to win one bet.
When and how will I receive my picks if I purchase the package?
All picks will be emailed and/or texted the morning of the NFL Draft (April 23rd) at 12:00pm
You will also be able to access your picks on a live spreadsheet in case anything changes throughout the day. This spreadsheet will be emailed to everyone who purchases the package.
What else do I need to know about the 2020 NFL Draft?
QBs-
We got Tiger Joe Burrow (LSU), Tua Tagovailoa (Alabama), Justin Herbet (Orgeon), and Jordan Love (Utah State) looking to be first rounds locks. There’s a lot of buzz surrounding where Tua will land, look for this to be a pick in our draft package. A few other guys that will draw some buzz after the big 4 are Jacob Eason (Washington), Jake Fromm (Georgia), and Jalen Hurts (Oklahoma).
RBs & WRs-
Very deep class in both of these positions. Here are some players we will be keeping an eye on. D’Andre Swift (Georgia), J.K. Dobbins (Ohio State), CeeDee Lamb (Oklahoma), Jerry Jeudy (Alabama), Henry Ruggs III (Alabama), Denzel Mims (Baylor), Brandon Aiyuk (Arizona State).
Defense–
There are 3 defensive players that almost every team seems to have a top 10 grade on. These players are Chase Young (Ohio State), Isaiah Simmons (Clemson), and Jeff Okudah (Ohio State). There are a ton of other great defensive prospects that will come off the board early, but look for those to be the first 3.
