Simply put, we think this matchup has a blowout written all over it. This sets up for a very nice bounce back spot for Washington State after falling to Boise State over the weekend. The discrepancy between these teams according to KenPom is quite significant. Washington State comes in at 69th, and Prairie View A&M ranks 316th despite their 2-0 record. This will be Prairie View’s first real test of the year, and we don’t believe they will pass that test. Washington State -10.5 for one unit is our play.

This feels like a great spot to back Kentucky tonight in the Champions Classic. For what it's worth, the Champions Classic is being played in Indianapolis. Michigan State is coming off a hard fought loss on an aircraft carrier to Gonzaga. Michigan State looked impressive for the better part of that game, but came up short. Kentucky on the other hand, believe it or not, will be starting 3 seniors tonight with the return of Oscar Tshiewbe. This will be one of the most experienced groups that Coach Calipari has had in recent memory. This will be the first true test for a Wildcats team with championship aspirations. Our bet is a half unit on Kentucky to cover the 6.5 points.

This should be an entertaining matchup for any of those in the Greater Philadelphia region. The Battle for 33rd Street, as they call it. Penn comes into this game with an ugly 0-3 record. It is worth noting that all three of their losses (Iona, Missouri, Towson) come from Top 100 KenPom teams as of today. Penn has played their last two opponents tough, but has looked sluggish to begin the season. Then there is Drexel, who comes off an impressive win over Old Dominion in their opener. Our numbers suggest Drexel should be closer to a pick em in this spot, so we will gladly take the 3 points. Drexel being on their home floor in this rivalry should prove valuable.
