3 College Football Bets To Consider For Week 13
Michigan @ Ohio State 12:00pm
Michigan +8 (-109)
Here we have what looks to be the game of the year! Both teams bring undefeated 11-0 records into this game, but only one team will leave unbeaten. In terms of the matchup, we've got these defenses ranked neck and neck. Our numbers don't show a firm edge on either side defensively. Michigan is the best tackling defense in the country, which is a metric we value heavily at SteadyPicks. Teams that tackle well rarely get blown out. This metric is especially important in games featuring elite offenses, which Ohio State certainly has. Moving to the offensive side of the ball, we do see a clear edge for Ohio State, specifically in the passing game. For us, this bet comes down to the 8 points. Ohio State is rightfully the favorite, and they will have a wild crowd behind them today in Columbus. Regardless, we are going to grab the 8 points with the underdogs. We will have a touchdown cushion throughout this game. Our hope is that Michigan's defense and rushing attack will keep them in it. Our bet is 1 unit.

USC vs. Notre Dame 7:30pm
USC Moneyline (-180)
This juicy moneyline price won't be for everyone, but that is where our bet is going in this game. Notre Dame has a fantastic defense, however, that defense has not played the same on the road. In Notre Dame's last 2 road games, they gave up 32 points to Navy, and 24 points to Syracuse. Neither of those offenses are nearly as talented as USC. These teams have a big discrepancy on the offensive side of the ball. We expect USC to find a way to win this one and make their case for a Playoff spot. Our bet is on the moneyline.

Iowa State @ TCU 4:00pm
Iowa State +10 (-110)
This Iowa State team may have a 3-7 record, but this will be no easy task for TCU today. Out of Iowa State's 7 losses, 6 of them were by 7 points or less. This team has played nearly everyone tough, but just have not found themselves on the right side of the scoreboard. Could today be the day that Iowa State gets a big win, and ruins TCU's perfect season in the process? We wouldn't say it's likely, but our numbers do suggest that Iowa State is better in some areas. On the defensive side of the ball, Iowa State has the better unit. Iowa State has also played an equally tough schedule (if not tougher). They played all the same teams that TCU barely beat (Baylor, Texas, Kansas State, Kansas). In each of those games, Iowa State had a good opportunity to win. We will roll with a half unit bet on Iowa State to make things interesting today.
