Georgia vs. Alabama 4:00pm
Over 55 Total Points (-113)
Rather than picking a side in this exciting SEC Championship matchup, we are going to look over at the total. Both of these teams have extremely explosive offenses. This game will feature some of the top playmakers in the country. While both defenses are also elite, Georgia’s defense looks to be a step off of where they were last year. Their run defense grades outside of the top 25. Georgia’s pass rush has also dropped off significantly over the last two seasons. Alabama’s defense is sound across the board as per usual. Auburn scored 24 on Bama last week, but no team other than Texas has scored over 30 on Alabama. With this game being played in a dome, with perfect passing and offensive conditions, we feel good about these offenses being able to put the ball in the endzone. Both teams have scored in the 30’s, 40’s, and even 50’s (in Georgia’s case) against strong SEC defenses. Our wager is a half unit on over 55 total points to be scored.

Louisville vs. Florida State 8:00pm
Louisville +1.5 (-110)
This is a game that the College Football Playoff selection committee will have very close eyes on. Florida State lost their Heisman hopeful QB Jordan Travis. Nonetheless, they have still managed a perfect 12-0 record heading into this game. If Florida State were to win, it would be hard to make a case for keeping them out of the playoff. A lot is on the line for Florida State outside of the ACC Championship stakes. Louisville is coming off of a tough loss to Kentucky, but many believe that was a potential lookahead loss. Louisville wasn’t really in the playoff mix. They had already been locked into this ACC Championship game, so their motivation factor was limited. Tonight's game is the opposite for Louisville. They have the opportunity to spoil the party for their conference rivals, and become ACC Champions. Louisville has all the ingredients needed to pull off this upset. They have a stout defense, a strong offense, and should have the QB edge with 5th year senior Jack Plummer. Florida State’s offense scored 30+ points just once over the last month, which was against North Alabama. They scored 27 points or less against Pitt, Miami, and Florida. Louisville on the other hand, has scored 30+ in each of their games over the last month (Virginia Tech, Virginia, Miami, Kentucky). We are going to side with the offense we trust more at this point of the season. Louisville +1.5 is our bet.
