Penn State @ Ohio State 12:00pm
Penn State +4.5 (-115)
We love this spot for Penn State today. This will be a tough road game against one of the best teams in the nation. That said, getting +4.5 points with arguably the better overall team is not a spot we will pass up. Penn State QB Drew Allar is not a household name in college football yet, but this sophomore is extremely talented. His metrics are significantly better than Ohio State’s QB Kyle McCord. In terms of ball security, Allar has had just 0.4% of his dropbacks graded as turnover worthy plays this season. McCord has had 3.5% of his dropbacks graded as turnover worthy. Allar has a 112 passer rating under pressure. McCord’s passer rating under pressure sits at 51.4. Both QB’s should be under a decent amount of pressure with both defenses having a strong pass rush. Penn State is a bit vulnerable at wide receiver, but they have two of the best RB’s in the nation. We feel this line should be closer to 3 points, so we will gladly take the 4.5 points with Penn State. We are going to up our wager in this one to 1.5 units. Always gamble responsibly.

Duke @ Florida State 7:30pm
Duke +14 (-110)
Florida State has been fantastic this season. The Seminols are a perfect 6-0 heading into this game. Duke has been one of the exciting surprises in college football this season. They sit at 5-1, with their only loss coming against Notre Dame. Duke has a blowout win over Clemson (who nearly beat FSU). On the offensive side of the ball, Duke’s QB Riley Leonard has been one of the best quarterbacks in the nation. The Junior has improved drastically each season, and took a big leap this year. Duke also has a good rushing attack, which is the one slight vulnerability of the Florida State defense. Defensively, Duke has the 2nd best pass coverage metrics in the nation behind Iowa. We anticipate Florida State’s QB Jordan Travis having his hands full today in this matchup. We are going to grab the +14 points with Duke.

Utah @ USC 8:00pm
Utah +7 (-110)
USC is coming off of an embarrassing loss to Notre Dame. Caleb Williams had the worst game of his college career. Things won’t get any easier against a very sound Utah defense, that is specifically very good in pass coverage. Utah beat USC twice last season, although the Utes will be without QB Cam Rising who led them to those victories last season. USC is a rightful favorite given their edge on offense and at the QB position. However, if Utah can establish the run, and prevent this game from becoming a shootout, we like their chances to stay within 7 points. Our wager is a half unit.
