Reds vs. Giants 12:35pm
Reds Moneyline (+100)
Reds rookie starting pitcher Andrew Abbott cruised through his first six starts with a 4-0 record, 1.21 ERA, and 3.48 FIP. In his last two starts, Andrew Abbott has hit some expected rookie regression. Both of those starts were against the Milwaukee Brewers. Abbott is a lefty, and the Brewers are one of the worst offenses in the MLB against left handed pitching. However, the Brewers had also faced Abbott three times in a little over a month. Until a team other than Milwaukee has success against Abbott, we will continue to trust his metrics. The Giants have a .316 on base percentage against lefties since July 1st, which is well below the league average. San Francisco is starting Alex Cobb, who holds an impressive 2.82 ERA. Cobb has a 4.15 ERA on the road, he has struggled pitching away from San Francisco. In what looks to be a 50-50 matchup, we will grab the plus money with the home team. Reds on the moneyline is our wager. Our stake is a half unit.
