The organization made it pretty clear to the clubhouse and fanbase that they are positioning their chips for next season. St. Louis is starting Dakota Hudson tonight, who got rocked at home by the Cubs in his last start. Hudson typically does not pitch more than 2-3 innings, so this will likely be primarily a bullpen game for the Cardinals. The St. Louis bullpen ranks bottom 7 in the MLB, and just traded one of their best relief pitchers to the Blue Jays (Jordan Hicks). We are going to side with the road team.
