After siding with the Kings in game 1, we are going to take the zig zap approach tonight in game 2. We have been firm in fading the Warriors on the road up to this point. Golden State has been a poor road team all season (11-31), and the same applies against the spread (12-30 ATS). While researching how this Warriors dynasty has performed in 0-1 situations, we discovered a crazy statistic. Since this Warriors dynasty made their postseason debut (2012-2013 season), they have NEVER trailed 0-2 in a series. This stat would be meaningless with a small sample size, but this core group (Steph, Klay, Draymond) has played 27 playoff series together. While 27 is still a relatively small sample size in the larger picture, it's highly impressive if nothing else. The Sacramento atmosphere will be loud and energetic. This city will be looking to "Light The Beam" tonight. However, it's worth considering that the Kings were not a very good home team this season. They went 23-18 in Sacramento, which is by far the worst home record amongst any top 4 seeded team in either conference. This is a rare spot for us taking the Warriors as road favorites, but we are going to do it tonight. Enjoy the game!
