The Mavericks have had a hot start to their season, winning six of their first seven games. They’ve had one of the weakest opening schedules of any team in the league. Dallas is beating up on bad teams, which is inflating their averages a bit. The Raptors, however, are faring much better than expected against a strong mix of competition. Toronto ranks top 5 in the NBA in defensive efficiency, even after having played the Bucks and the Sixers twice. The Raptors have been shooting and defending against the three ball at an elite level. They currently hold a 4.9% differential in three point percentage. This game is set to be a much tougher test for the Mavericks offense.
