It’s no secret that the Trail Blazers are not a very good team. Portland currently holds the league's worst offense. They have the 3rd worst record in the NBA. The Clippers have won 3 straight games, with two of those wins coming against Nuggets and Warriors. While the Trail Blazers don’t have much offense, they rank top 10 in the NBA in defensive efficiency. Portland has covered their last 4 games as double digit dogs (Warriors, Cavaliers, Pacers, Bucks). All of those games were on the road. The Clippers have struggled covering these large spreads. In their last 6 games being favored by 7.5 points or more, the Clippers are 2-4 against the spread. A couple of key Trail Blazers players are listed as questionable (Brogdon, Ayton). Portland should get at least one of those two players back tonight. Jerami Grant will remain out with a concussion. We will look for the Trail Blazers defense and slow tempo of play to keep this game within 13. Our stake is a half unit.
