Orioles @ Red Sox 7:10pm
Orioles Moneyline (+110)
It's Dean Kremer day for the Orioles. For those who are not familiar with Dean Kremer, he's been the Orioles best starting pitcher down the stretch of this season. Since August, the Orioles are 8-2 in the games Kremer has started, and he's been a dog in many of those. We've backed the Orioles a lot with Kremer on the mound during this stretch, and we are going to continue to bet this spot. Red Sox starter Rich Hill is 42 years old and has not been pitching well (8 earned runs in his last 10 innings). Hill also has one of the worst bullpens in the league behind him. We will take the road dogs on the moneyline. Our bet is one unit.
Brewers vs. Cardinals 7:40pm
Brewers Moneyline (-150)
This is a really good spot for the Brewers tonight. The Cardinals celebrated winning the division last night, and essentially have no reason not to rest some players in their lineup and bullpen. It's certainly possible the Cardinals roll out their usual lineup, but either way, we like the Brewers at home with Brandon Woodruff pitching. Betting Woodruff in Milwaukee has been an auto bet spot. He is 7-0 with a 2.16 ERA at home. Our bet is one unit on the Brewers moneyline.
Phillies @ Cubs 7:40pm
Phillies Moneyline (-190)
The Phillies offense did not show up last night. They scored just 1 run, resulting in a loss. Tonight the Phillies should be able to have success against Cubs rookie starting pitcher Hayden Wesneski. While Wesneski has solid numbers on paper, he has just 4 major league starts. Those starts were against the Reds, Giants, Rockies, and Pirates. This Phillies offense will be a big step up for Wesneski, and we like the Phillies odds to put some runs on the board. Phillies starting pitcher Aaron Nola has been their most reliable pitcher this season. In terms of the NL wild card race, the Brewers lost last night which allowed the Phillies to maintain their 1.5 game lead. However, the books are calling for the Brewers to win tonight. This is a big game for the Phillies, and our bet is on them to win. It's worth noting that the Phillies are 0-4 against the Cubs this season, and the Cubs have been playing well prior to this series. Our stake is one unit only.
