This was originally a stay off for us with Charles Oliveira priced around (-185) earlier in the week. With yesterdays news of him missing weight and being stripped of his title, this line has taken a dive toward Justin Gaethje. While it is concerning to see Oliveira miss weight, we question whether this line movement is justified. This is still a championship level fight, and it's tough to believe Oliveira will be any less motivated to win. We will fade all of that public Justin Gaethje money, and buy the dip on Charles Oliveira.

Here we have two MMA legends, both of which have more losses than wins over their last handful of bouts. Joe Lauzon hasn't fought since October of 2019, and he's lost 3 of his last 4. Donald Cerrone has not recorded a win in his last 6 fights (5 losses and 1 no contest). That being said, we are going to side with Cowboy Cerrone to grind out this win. Joe Lauzon has a history of being dangerous early in fights, he has a lot of first round finishes on his resume. If the fight goes to the later rounds, Cerrone should have the edge. Our bet is one unit on the moneyline.

We like this price on the underdog. Journey Newson is coming off of a tough loss in his last fight to a very good opponent (Randy Costa), where he got caught in the first round. He was the betting favorite in that fight, and many believe he should be the favorite tonight against Fernie Garcia from the UFC's Contender series. This is Garcia's UFC debut, we will opt to take a flyer on the underdog with more experience.
