Baltimore won the last 5 games that Irvin has appeared in. On the Diamondbacks side of this pitching matchup is Zach Davies, who has struggled this season. Davies is 0-4 with a 6.28 ERA and 1.55 WHIP at home this season. His road numbers are even worse. Zach Davies is having the worst season of his 9 year career. Until he turns things around, we feel comfortable fading him against this talented Orioles team.

We are going to side with the home underdogs in this matchup. Braves starting pitcher, Max Fried, has not been himself since returning from injury. Fried is 3-0 with a 3.58 ERA this month, but his WHIP sits at 1.33. His WHIP has been consistently around 1.00 the last 3 seasons. The rise this month raises an eyebrow for us. Dodgers starter Julio Urias holds a 4-1 record with a 2.90 ERA and an extremely impressive 0.87 WHIP in August. Urias looks to be in better form than Fried heading into this game. Both of these offenses and bullpens are very good. In what looks to be extremely close to a 50-50 matchup, we will opt for the (+108) price on the home team.
