Two Bets To Consider For UFC 288 (Sterling vs. Cejudo)
Belal Muhammad vs. Gilbert Burns
Belal Muhammad Moneyline (+110)
The winner of this co main event is expected to get the next title shot in the welterweight division. If you dig into the numbers, a strong case can be made that the wrong fighter may be favored here. Belal Muhammad looks to be the higher volume striker. He averages 4.4 significant strikes per minute, compared to 3.3 for Gilbert Burns. Belal also averages more takedowns, and holds one of the best takedown defense percentages in the entire UFC (92%). Gilbert Burns is 2-0 in 2023 with wins over Jorge Masvidal (April 8th) and Neil Magny (January 21st). This will be Belal’s first fight in 2023. He rattled off 3 very impressive wins in his last 3 fights. Belal has been tested against elite level strikers and grapplers throughout his UFC career. It is worth noting, there have been some recent reports and videos that suggest Belal Muhahmmad may have an ankle injury heading into this fight. We are aware of the rumors, and are not taking much stake into that news. The odds have not changed to reflect a potential injury. We will take the plus money with Belal Muhammad.

Khaos Williams vs. Rolando Bedoya
Khaos Williams By KO/TKO (-115)
We want to take a quick trip down memory lane to one of our favorite UFC bets ever. All the back at UFC 247 (February 2020), we got wind of an unknown prospect making his UFC debut. Khaos Williams had won 6 straight fights across different regional organizations, but nobody knew much about him. His opponent at this time (Alex Morono) had already lost several fights in the UFC, and did not look to be someone who could stand and strike with Williams. We posted a bold 3 unit bet at (+240) odds on the underdog Khaos Williams. HERE is that fight if you care to relive it. The bet netted us +7.2 units! We are back on Khaos Williams in this fight, but with a smaller wager due to the steep odds. Rolando Bedoya only has one loss in his professional MMA career (which was back in 2015). Bedoya has never been knocked out, but our wager is on that to change tonight. Khaos faced several other fighters who had never been knocked out. He knocked Miguel Baeza out who had never beed KO'd. Williams is also the only fighter who has knocked out Abdul Razak Alhassan. Our bet is on Khaos to add another KO to his resume.
