It’s a bit extreme to consider a week 4 NFL game to be a must win, but this is a big one for the Giants tonight. The Giants are 1-2, but will travel to Miami and then to Buffalo after this game. Falling to 1-3 tonight very well may lead to a 1-5 start for the G-Men. If you look at the list of 1-5 teams who have made the postseason, that list is very short. The Seahawks lost at home in week 1, but bounced back with two straight wins. Now they will travel across the country for this primetime Monday Night game.The Giants were a 1.5 point favorite on the lookahead line, and now sit as a +2.5 point underdog on gameday. The Giants will be without starting left tackle Andrew Thomas. Their All Pro running back Saquan Barkley is listed as doubtful. On the defensive side of the ball, the Giants are intact. Moving over to the Seahawks injury report, things get a little dicey with Seattle’s offensive line. The Seahawks are expected to be without both of their starting tackles, and their center is listed as questionable. As bad as the Giants defense has been, they rank top 5 in the NFL in opposing QB pressure percentage. The sacks haven’t been there, but the data screams that those sacks are coming. Seahawks QB Geno Smith has been excellent under pressure and against the blitz this season. However, this week might be tough for Geno on the road, with a thin offensive line, against a hungry defensive line. This bet will be tough to stomach for most.
