SteadyPicks Best Bets For College Football Week 7
Indiana @ Michigan 12:00pm
Indiana +34 (-110)
Getting 34 points in a game with a 45 point total is interesting. Indiana has not been very good on either side of the ball this season. The Hoosiers have a redshirt freshman QB in Tayven Jackson who has struggled so far. Indiana had an extra week to prepare for this game. This should be highly beneficial to the young QB. Indiana coach Tom Allen will have his defense amped up for this game. The Hoosiers held Ohio State to 23 points, and held an explosive Louisville offense to 21 points. Indiana allowed 44 points in Maryland, but their defense has looked solid over the larger sample size of the season. We will take the 34 points with the conference underdogs, and root for Indiana not to get blown out. A half unit is our stake.

South Carolina vs. Florida 3:30pm
South Carolina -1.5 (-110)
South Carolina has had a disappointing season to this point. However, they’ve also had an extremely difficult schedule to this point. South Carolina’s losses have all come on the road. Those losses were against North Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee. Those are all high quality opponents. This is another tough game for the Gamecocks, but this one is home at Williams-Brice Stadium. Florida is 0-2 against the spread and outright in their two road games. They lost both of those games by double digits. South Carolina has the better QB in Spencer Rattler. We will lay the -1.5 points with South Carolina at home.

Washington vs. Oregon 3:30pm
Washington -3 (-115)
We have two top 10 teams clashing in this Pac-12 rivalry matchup. Last season, Washington went into Oregon and won a 37-34 thriller. Today’s game will be played at Husky Stadium, which will certainly be a hostile environment for the Ducks. The public bettors are jumping all over Oregon +3 and Oregon +3.5. Despite the ticket splits favoring Oregon, the majority of the cash looks to be behind Washington. The market has reacted to those larger wagers, and has now juiced the -3 on Washington. We encourage you to shop around for the best possible number, as some books have the -3 upwards of (-120). Both QBs will look to make their Heisman case today. Michael Penix Jr. has been the most efficient passer in the nation to this point. Both teams have had an extra week to prepare for this matchup. We are going to lay the 3 points behind the home team, who we feel has the slightly better QB. Our stake is a half unit.

Pittsburgh vs. Louisville 6:30pm
Pittsburgh +7.5 (-115)
This is one of those spreads that is going to raise the eyebrows of many bettors. We have 6-0 Louisville who just upset Notre Dame last week. They will take on 1-4 Pittsburgh, who got rolled by Virginia Tech in their last game. It’s important to note that Pitt had an extra week to prepare for this game. Pitt made a QB switch to Penn State transfer Christian Veilleux. This should provide a spark to an offense that struggled behind Phil Jurkovec. While Louisville is undefeated, they are coming off of an emotional upset win, and have a huge game against Duke next week. This looks to be a perfect let down spot against a well rested conference opponent. We are going to take the +7.5 points with Pitt, and root for them to keep this game competitive. Our wager is a half unit.
