A couple important notes for anyone who is considering betting on Utah. First, Utah will be returning 17 starters from last years Pac 12 champion team. More importantly, Utah's head coach Kyle Whittingham is returning both of his coordinators. Teams that bring back their head coach and both coordinators tend to perform well against the spread early in the season. Utah is a physical football team that rolled over the Pac 12 last season. However, this is a big test to start out the season. Florida QB Anthony Richardson is on our Heisman watch. He's a freak athlete who draws comparisons to Cam Newton. If you're looking for a long shot futures bet that has a realistic shot to cash, Richardson is (+4000) to win the Heisman right now. Florida has a new head coach in Billy Napier. They have a ton of talent, but it could take some time to get things rolling with a new system and coaching staff. Our bet is on the Utah moneyline.

This is one of those games where we have to call it how we see it. This Bowling Green program is being paid to travel from Ohio to California to give Chip Kelly and company a tune up game. UCLA has a talented senior QB in Dorian Thompson-Robinson, and a ton of high recruits on both sides of the ball. It would be be highly surprising to see Bowling Green able to keep this game within 24 points. Our model has UCLA winning by north of 30 points, although a lot of that data is based on last season so take it with a grain of salt. Either way, we are going with a one unit bet on UCLA to cover the spread.

San Diego State was a very good defensive team last season. They bring back 7 starters from that defense. In last years matchup between these teams, San Diego State won 38-14 and dominated every part of the game. Today, this game will be played at San Diego's brand new Snapdragon Stadium behind a sold out crowd. Arizona brought in a talented QB from Washington State through the transfer portal (Jayden de Laura), but aside from that they bring back a lot of pieces from a 1-11 team. Boise State is returning 17 starters from last seasons team. Their head coach Andy Avalos should have a lot more success in his 2nd year with the program. Boise State is 10-4 outright against the Pac 12 in their last 14 games against this conference. Oregon State has come out of the gate slow under head coach Jonathan Smith. We like a half unit bet on the road dogs to win this game outright.
