Tonight we are laying the 2 points with the Philadelphia 76ers against the New Orleans Pelicans. The Sixers are playing good basketball right now. They just handed LeBron James the biggest loss of his career thus far. The Sixers two stars (Embiid & Maxey) are playing great under new head coach Nick Nurse. Embiid is averaging a league-leading 32 points with 11.4 rebounds. Maxey isn’t too far behind him at 26.6 points and 6.9 assists. Simply put, we aren’t so sure that the Pelicans have the answer to stopping this Sixers offense. The Pelicans interior defense is not very good. The 76ers should be able to exploit this. The Sixers are 5-2 against the spread on the road this season. Philly has performed well in this spot for bettors. Our stake is a half unit.
