Best Bets In The Ivy League Conference For February 18th 2022
(CBB) Cornell +1.5 (-110) @ Dartmouth 7:00pm
Something feels very fishy about this game. We have a 5-15 team (Dartmouth) favored against one of the better teams in the Ivy League. Cornell has been great on the road this season (7-3 ATS), and even better as an underdog (10-3 ATS). These two teams also played back in early January, and Cornell won the game by 8 (as a 5 point favorite). Not only do our metrics suggests Cornell is the better team, but the teams records indicate this as well. Cornell has 8 more wins, and Dartmouth is 2-7 in Ivy League conference play. In addition to that, Dartmouth failed to cover in their only two games as a home favorite this season. As much as this feels like a bit of a trap, we will dive head first into it and take Cornell.
(CBB) Yale ML (-180) vs. Penn 7:00pm
Yale currently sits at the top of the Ivy League standings. Yale is 8-1 in conference play, 8-2 at home, and they are currently riding a 6 game win streak. In the first matchup between these two teams back on January 22nd, Penn won by 6 on their home court. Tonight Yale will get a shot to revenge that loss on their home floor. With a win, Yale will have a great shot to be representing the Ivy League in March Madness.
(CBB) Columbia +15.5 @ Harvard 7:00pm
We like this spot for Columbia as a big road underdog. Columbia is 7-3 against the spread as a road dog this season, and they are 10-4 against the spread when they have been a dog of 14 points or more. Harvard is 3-8 against the spread as a betting favorite this season. We will grab Columbia for a half unit.
