We see a ton of value on LSU in this spot. It's important to know that prior to LSU losing to Texas A&M last weekend, the look ahead line on this SEC Championship game was between -14.5 and -16.5 depending on the book. After LSU essentially blew their chances at the playoff with an ugly loss, this line went as far as -20.5.

For us, we aren't taking much stake into LSU's loss to Texas A&M. It was a tough SEC road game against a team that had the #1 recruiting class in the nation in 2022. Texas A&M also had a top 10 recruiting class in the nation in 2021. So while the timing of the loss was not ideal, LSU lost to a team that had a lot of talent. In addition, it was a dangerous look ahead spot to this SEC Championship game against Georgia. Regardless, now we have the opportunity to get an extra 3-5 points of value on the lookahead line. 

LSU's star QB Jayden Daniels looks to be trending toward playing without limitations. For those who believe LSU will not be as motivated due to being eliminated from the playoff, we strongly disagree. Winning the SEC would be a massive accomplishment for Brian Kelly and this LSU program. Beating the undefeated reigning champions is another layer of motivation. Georgia on the other hand, will still be in the playoff if they lose this game. Georgia has a National Championship prioritized higher than this SEC Championship.
