5 Key Takeaways From NFL Week 9
1) The Bengals rushing attack comes to life!
The Bengals rushing offense broke out in a big way yesterday! The offense rushed for 241 yards against a Panthers defense that has been tough against the run. Joe Mixon led the way, averaging 7 yards per carry and rushing for a total of 153 yards (including 4 TDs). Mixon also caught a 5th touchdown. Safe to say, it was a tough day for anyone going against Joe Mixon in fantasy football. The Bengals offensive line struggled to create holes for Joe Mixon through the first 8 weeks of the season. It will be interesting to monitor if this is an outlier performance, or if this rushing attack will continue to improve.

2) The Packers and Aaron Rodgers are at an all time low!
The Packers dropped another game, and this one was to the Detroit Lions. Aaron Rodgers tossed 3 interceptions to the worst defense in the NFL. The Packers struggled to get the rushing attack going, Aaron Rodgers was the teams leading rusher in this game with 40 yards. The Packers defense played well, holding the Lions to just 15 points. The Packers next 3 games are against the Cowboys, Titans, and Eagles. Things will not be getting any easier for this team. Is it time to stick a fork in the 2022 Packers?

3) Tom Brady saves the day for the Buccaneers!
After what looked to be one of the worst drops in NFL history by Scotty Miller, the Bucs odds to win this game were looking slim. After turning the ball over at the goal, the Rams offense took over and needed one first down to end the game. They ran the ball 3 straight times in attempt take the Bucs remaining timeouts and run the clock. Tom Brady got the ball back with roughly 50 seconds and no timeouts. In typical Tom Brady fashion, he made the Rams pay. Brady went right down the field, scoring the game winning touchdown with 9 seconds to spare. This win has the Buccaneers back at the top of the division, and just may have saved their season.

4) The Seahawks are not a fluke!
If you would have told us that the Seahawks were going to be 6-3, in first place in their division, behind Geno Smith... like most, we would have laughed. However, that is the reality of this situation. This team is bought in to Pete Carroll's system. They have an emerging superstar running back in Kenneth Walker III, and Geno Smith is having a legitimate pro bowl caliber season. Defensively, Pete Carroll may have found Richard Sherman 2.0 in Tariq Woolen. The Seahawks will head to Germany to play the Bucs next week!

5) The Titans are built to win in the playoffs!
Closing as 14 point underdogs last night, the Titans took the Chiefs down to the wire! They did so with a rookie backup QB in Malik Willis. Some may remember that the Titans absolutely spanked the Chiefs last season. We were curious how the Chiefs would respond at home in this favorable matchup. What we learned is that Mike Vrabel is one of the few coaches who can trip up Patrick Mahomes and this explosive offense. If Tennessee can get healthy, and remain healthy, look for this team to be dangerous. An elite defense, and an elite rushing attack is a good recipe to win in this league. Keep an eye on the Titans.
