Austin Eckroat Top 40 Finish (-110)

Austin Eckroat had a lot of steam heading into the Rocket Mortgage Classic earlier this month. He ended up missing that cut, and followed it up with an average performance (T-65th) at the Genesis Scottish Open. Prior to those two events, Eckroat had finished inside the top 30 in five consecutive events. That includes a 2nd place finish at AT&T Byron Nelson, and a top 10 finish at the U.S. Open. The 24 year old is extremely talented, and he had a top 20 finish at the 3M Open back in 2021 as a 22 year old. Eckroat should have a great opportunity to bounce back and finish inside the top 40 this week.

Nicolai Hojgaard Top 40 Finish (+115)

The 22 year old Nicolai Hojgaard is quietly becoming a name to watch out for. This month Hojgaard has finished inside the top 25 in all three events he has played in (Rocket Mortgage Classic, Genesis Scottish Open, The Open Championship). He’s a long hitter, which is beneficial at the TPC Twin Cities course. He’s a young kid with limited experience, but we like his upside enough to take a flier on a top 40 finish at this (+115) price.

J.T. Poston Top 40 Finish (-110)

In June, J.T. Poston missed back to back cuts at the U.S. Open and Travelers Championship. In the month of July, Poston has played in three events. He finished T-6th at the John Deere Classic and Genesis Scottish Open, and finished just outside the top 40 at the Open Championship last weekend (T-41st). Poston looks to have found his form. He holds a good track record at this event with an 11th place finish last year. Our wager is a half unit on J.T. Poston to finish within the top 40.

Tom Hoge Top 40 Finish (+160)

Tom Hoge missed the cut at the Open Championship last week. He finished inside the top 20 the week prior at the Genesis Open, but Hoge just hasn’t been consistent this season. That being said, he played really well at TPC Twin Cities last year with a 4th place finish. Hoge ranks 2nd on the PGA Tour in fairway proximity, and 5th in strokes gained approaching the green. At this (+160) price, we like the odds for Hoge to bounce back and finish inside the top 40.

Ludvig Aberg Top 40 Finish (-155)

Ludvig Aberg has finished inside the top 40 in five of his seven events in 2023. He missed the cut at the Genesis Scottish Open, but finished inside the top 5 at the John Deere Classic the week prior. The 23 year old is very good off the tee, which should bode well for him at this TPC Twin Cities course. Our wager is a half unit on the Texas Tech product to finish in the top 40.

Cameron Young Top 20 Finish (+100)

Cameron Young ranks 3rd on the PGA Tour in driving distance, and 12th in strokes gained off the tee. These are two key metrics to consider at this TPC Twin Cities course. Young is in good form, he has finished inside the top 10 in his last two events (John Deere Classic & The Open Championship). The concern with Cameron Young is his putting. If he manages to putt well, Young should be right there on Sunday hunting for an outright win. If Young's putting is just average, he still picks up enough strokes within the rest of his game to compete with this lighter field. We will grab the (+100) on a top 20 finish for Cameron Young. Our stake is a half unit.
