Tip #1 - Make sure you understand the terminology of the game.
Hit - To ask the dealer for an additional card.
Stay - To indicate to the dealer that you do not want to receive any additional cards.
Split - When you have two cards that are the same number, you may split the cards into two separate hands.
Double Down - You may double the amount of your bet and receive one additional card only from the dealer.
Insurance - When the dealer is showing an ace, you essentially may make a side bet (generally 50% of the amount of your original wager) that the dealer has blackjack.
Tip #2 - Make sure you know the general rules and strategies of the game.
For example, a player should always assume the card that the dealer is not showing is a 10.
If you are an inexperienced player, try using a guide similar to what we have created below.
Tip #3 - Know when to walk away.
Whether you have won an amount of money that you’re happy with, or if you’ve hit your limit that you're willing to lose, you must have self discipline and be able to walk away from the table.
Those who do not follow this golden rule, typically find themselves in bad situations.
Set your walk away number on both sides and stick to it!
Remember to always gamble responsibly!
